Privacy policy

This website is operated by This Is Wing Chun (Long Island Wing Chun), 257 Broadway, Huntington Station, NY 11746. This page explains what information the site collects and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Inquiry forms. When you send a free-trial request, a contact message or a shop order request, we receive the details you type in: your name, email address, phone number, the program you are interested in, any preferred day or time, and your message.
• Payments. If online checkout is enabled, payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe’s own pages. We never see or store your card number.
• Basic technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider records standard request information such as IP address and browser type, used for security and to keep the site running.

How we use it

We use the information you send only to reply to you, arrange classes, and fulfil orders. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Who handles it for us

Form submissions are delivered to the school by email through our email delivery provider, and may be stored in a secure database so that requests are not lost. The site is hosted by Vercel. The contact page shows a Google map, and the site links to Instagram and Facebook; those services have their own privacy policies.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. Your browser may store a small session value so the opening animation is not repeated on every page view; it contains no personal information.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information you have sent us at any time. Email ThisIsWingChun@gmail.com or call +1 (347) 587-8030.

Children

If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact the school on your behalf.

Changes

We may update this page as the site changes. The current version is always posted here.
